Continue the work of the Department of Student Activism and its original goal:

 

• To help grow, develop, and expand on existing student activist and activism based organizations:

• Create expansive tools to develop activism efforts on campus.

​​

• Support the creation of activism networks and power mapping.

​​

• Network between efforts and leaders on campus to larger movements and leaders.

​​

Establish a series of student leadership awards and scholarships:

​

• These can be organized through Fin App, as they already have funds set aside for activism-related projects.

​​

• Assist BIPOC and FGLI students who deter from entering these spaces due to the hours of unpaid labor that goes into advocacy.

​​

• Institutionalize Know Your Rights training to teach new students about their rights on campus within the Code of Conduct and concerning GUPD, as well as their rights off-campus with MPD.
