TITLE IX

  • Divide the current categories of student bystander training into shorter, more focused individual sessions that occur over a series of weeks. This breakdown would include sessions dedicated exclusively to gendered discrimination, racial discrimination, etc.​

  • Work with NSO to schedule an introductory bystander training session for the first weekend after freshman move-in. ​

  • Coordinate with Health Education Services (HES) to establish refresher bystander training sessions open to all classes, scheduled for at least three times per semester. ​

​

  • Create a masculine-identifying peer working group to develop and recommend educational programming around healthy masculinity in predominantly masculine spaces (including representation from all-male athletic teams and male social organizations). This project was taken on by several previous administrations but must be acted upon now.
